Five clusters of flood management articles in Scopus from 2000 to 2019 using social network analysis

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the bibliographic characteristics and content of articles on flood management published in journals indexed by Scopus written researchers from throughout world 2000 2019.Methods: We obtained data database October 2, 2020. “Flood management” was used search across several categories, including article title, abstract, keywords, filtered subject area (social science; environmental business, management, accounting). only retrieved English. conducted analysis using VOSviewer software visualized co-occurrence keywords coupling sources countries.Results: Following protocol, we found 984 over past 20 years. Among three areas, science most productive field for publishing articles. Flood control, risk assessment were top popular topics. publications 266 journals. In total, 86 countries collaborated produce research related management. <i>Natural Hazard Journal</i> <i>Journal Risk Management</i> prominent Institutions Europe ominated 10 institutions with affiliated researchers.Conclusion: From a global perspective, two decades has increased significantly. There five major topic clusters, European-published publications. Thus, Asian need conduct more active this topic.
